CH (1) Born in Patricroft/Eccles in 1870/69 In 1881 he was living at 138 Turf Lane ,Chadderton In 1901 " " " " 20 Palatine Road,Blackpool son of CH (2) Chr. on 16/06/1823 in Glossop (born Whitfield) In 1841 still in Glossop/Whitfield In 1851living in West Sculcoates/Hull with wife Ann + growing family-he was then teaching at Dock Green School. In 1881 in Chadderton,as above- he was then an agent for water filters son of CH (3) Presumably born abt 1800 Married to Eliz. Hepworth on 14/11/1822 in Glossop He had sisters: Sarah,Molly Hague,Hannah and Martha Each CHRISTOPHER HAMPSON seems to be the only boy in his generation,as far as I can tell.
