Hi Janet, I don't know if it's co-incidence, but there's a victor.markham@btinternet.com researching Marshall Best wishes, Colin Hinson In the village of Blunham in Bedfordshire U.K. Webmaster for the Genuki Yorkshire pages: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/ Rare Books on CD: http://www.blunham.demon.co.uk/CDroms/ Baine's & Bulmers directories, History of Craven, Heywood/Northowram, National gazetteer of G.B & Ireland, Whelan's York & NRY Hunter's Hallamshire (Sheffield), Yorkshire: Past and Present Poulson's Holderness, Turner's Brighouse, etc etc >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi Everyone Just yesterday I had an email from someone in regards to my MARSHALL line. The info that the person gave matches to the same family that I am researching. I presume he got my name from a surname List. I clicked on to the "reply" to the email address and sent a message back. However, I got a message from my server saying <<Each of the following recipients was rejected by a remote mail server. The reasons given by the server are included to help you determine why each recipient was rejected. Recipient: <victor-marshall@btinternet.com> Reason: Unknown local part victor-marshall in <victor-marshall@btinternet.com>>> I have tried sending the message without the hyphen after victor and putting a dot after victor but the message keeps coming back. Seems to me that I had trouble with a btinernet.com address before when replying. Does anyone have any idea on trying another way to send this message? Does anyone know why replying to sender would bounce? Does anyone know of a Victor Marshall? Any help appreciated. Janet Lovegrove
