Thanks Chris for transcribing and making these available to all of us. It's very interesting to see the distribution of names. I was surprised to find only 1 Dry(e), 1 Hope & 2 Ringroses. Perhaps others were living in the Kingston upon Hull area not covered in your transcription or were amongst the ones that got away. I know that Ringrose originates in East Yorkshire. Perhaps the Hope's & Dry's were incomers. Other names like my Hodgson's & Walker's I found in plentiful numbers. It really makes one think about their lives to find that a private individual would own a musket or a corselet & that these would be provided for those that couldn't afford them.
