    3. Hi, On most of my Hull certificates is says 'in the County of the said Town' or 'in the county of Kingston upon Hull'. The City and some of the Parishes to the West, Hessle, North Ferriby and Kirk Ella were collectively known as Hullshire from the 1600's onwards.
