    1. [ERY] The Beverley Reform Chapel 1856
    2. Paul Roberts
    3. Dear List Members, I have recently come across a copy of a printed booklet containing a poem called "Lines on the Erection of The Reform Chapel, Beverley A.D. 1856", written by Joshua Roberts (1806-1884). Joashua, an ancestor of mine, was a Methodist lay preacher. The poem is certainly not a great work, but it does have an historical interest, especially as it mentions a number of people connected to the chapel. Their names are: BAINBRIDGE, BRAIMBRIDGE,CARLEE,DIAL,DIXON,GRAINGER,LAWTY,LOFT,MOODY,MUSGRAVE,OSGERBY,PAPE,SAWNEY,STAFFORD,VERITY and WELBOURNE. If anyone is searching for these names and would like to read the poem I will gladly send them a copy off-list. Meanwhile, if anyone has any information whatsoever about Joshua ROBERTS, who had been born in North Somercotes, Lincolnshire in 1806, I would be more than grateful to receive it. With all best wishes Paul Roberts
