    2. I hace Collinson in my family tree, my mother's maiden name was Collinson. They lived near to the East Coast in Yorkshire, they were farmers. I have a William born approx 1782 and is son Charles born 1820. also have Collinson in Anlaby, do any of these ring bells with you, let me know if I can help. Hilary

    2. Hi Hilary How are you? It's a long time since we have been in touch! So you have Collinson's on your tree? So have I for that matter! I guess this could go the way of the Ward family when there was no link between our two lines. I have just had a quick look and my Collinsons are from Beverley, Howden, Hull and Anlaby. The one in Anlaby is Spence (maybe it should be Spencer?) Collinson born in 1838. Going further back I have Elizabeth born 1792 but I don't know where.
