To all who replied to my message on the Platt family and the Christening question I offer my thanks. You have given me some great information and some of it has extended my research back a little further. Too one new to research in England it is dificult understanding how the records are kept and the divisions of the land into counties, etc. So please bear with me as I ask some dumb questions until I get it straight in my mine, which I find harder to do as I advance in age.
