Hello, I'm new to this list and I'm working on the family history of the JEFFERSON family who were in Elloughton in the 1800s. In particular, I'm studying George Drinkall JEFFERSON, who was born in Elloughton and later lived in Mappleton. He was in Bessenby on the 1881 census. George's parents, Robert and Sarah seem to have been in Elloughton all their lives and I believe Robert's father, another Robert, also came from the area.
