    3. I am hoping someone can kindly help me find this man in 1851. He was born c1823 somewhere in Nottinghamshire. His first child (that I know of) was born 1853 in Hull. By 1861, he had remarried into my Jefferson family. I would like to know where he was married and what family he had. Thanks for any help! Mary Lou on a very foggy vancouver island

    3. Thanks to Barbara for finding my fellow in '51. That certainly looks like him, although now I am even more confused! He had two children born in '53 and '56 before he married into my family in '60. So if he was a widower in '51 he must have had another marriage in the meantime! They certainly went through spouses back then, didn't they? Thanks again! Mary Lou
