Hello, Re the Cobb inquiry, Benjamin Cobb was a witness to the will of my 3x great-grandfather, John Broadley, farmer, of Lund on the 4th of January, 1828. Unfortunately the only evidence I have is his name, not even profession. Although the will is a transcription, it seems Benjamin was able to write his name , otherwise it would have indicated 'his mark' I imagine.. Hope this is of interest. While I'm here, I'll just note that I'm interested in BROADLEY and MEASE of Lund, WILKINSON of Watton and SPENCE of Etton.
