Hello, Is there anyone else researching either of these name in the Market Weighton area? I have a Robert JACKSON (born 1804 in Market Weighton) who married Hannah WILSON in 1823 in Westow. This couple eventually moved to Canada. Robert's parents were Robert JACKSON (b. abt 1772) and Anne HEWSON (b. abt 1779), both of Market Weighton. Robert was listed as the Parish Clerk in the 1841 and 1851 censuses. Their children were: John (1797), Richard (1799), Sarah (1802), Robert (1804), Elizabeth (1806), James (1808), Mary (1810), William (1813), Elizabeth (1815), Henry (1817) and Frances (1820). Robert JACKSON died 1856 in Market Weighton, and I assume that his wife Ann died roughly around the same time. If there is anyone who know of either of these JACKSON or HEWSON families, I would love to hear more.
