Dear Barbara Thanks for the welcome email. I will keep my eyes peeled for a St. Paul connection or reference while I am trawling through LDS films. I have been stuck on the Holme on Spalding Moor registers of late but think I will take a break and come back to the film later in the year with fresh eyes and a stronger magnifying glass/spectacles. Whilst I think of it, for those Jewitt researchers, I know there are quite a few Jewitt Laveracks scattered around the EYR, although I have no connection to them I have always noticed Jewitt when used as a first name as I found it unsual. Kind Regards to you too, Ann -----Original Message----- From: Barbara [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, January 30, 2006 2:56 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ERY] Re: Laverack, Bird, Vardall Families of East Riding Dear Ann: Welcome to the list and I'm sure someone will be able to help you. Many of my Yorkshire ancestors came from the towns you mentioned but Bird, Laverack and Vardall haven't featured so far in my family tree. However, if you come across anyone with the surname of ST. PAUL, I would love to hear from you. Kind regards, Barbara, Auckland, NZ
