A really big thank you to all who replied to my question. I hope i have sent personal thank yous, but if not thanks. I was also looking at the fact that she could have been a stepmother, but as far as I know the father had died and so couldn't have remarried. I am now looking into the wife who may have been married before but no luck as yet. If anyone is interested in what I'm looking at it is the Millington family on the 1881 census RG11/4771 folio 102 page 3. Thanks yet again Wendy
