John PEARSON of Hull, Corn Factor aged 24, married Alice JOHNSON of Kirkella, aged 21, on 3rd Dec 1801 at Hull, Holy Trinity. Their first child I have found is Sarah Elizabeth, bapt 9 March 1806 at Hull H-T. Were there any others before this ? It seems quite a gap. Their son John was born about 1807 (from the date of his apprenticeship agreement, 1820) but I cannot identify his bapt. The only likely Alice JOHNSON I have found was bapt. 30 April 1777 at Hull H-T. If this is the right one why was she 'of Kirkella' ?. Any help would be appreciated. Bob.
