Brian Osbourne Street is where Hull Brewery used to have their brewery. It is also where the department store Edwin Davis was. The building is still there but empty and will soon be demolished. There are no houses in the street but my guess is they could have been bombed in the last war. That is how I have seen Osbourne Street. I have just been looking at a book called 'Forgotten Hull' by Graham Wilkinson so I will be scanning some pages from this book and will send these off list. it could be that Osbourne Street as it is now may not be the same one when your mother was born. Victor Many thanks for your assistance. I recently managed to obtain a bool called "A Noth-East Coast Town" Ordeal and Triumph. It is the Story of Kingston Upon Hull in the 1939-1945 Great War. The book has many photographs. Unfortunately, there wasn't any of Osborne Street. As well as the place of my mother's birth nearly all my Uncles and Aunties were born there also. Once again many thanks Brian Australia ( As a family we immigrated to Austalia in 1950) > Osbourne Street is where Hull Brewery used to have their brewery.
