Is there a possibility that some kind person could do a look up in the Muston records please? The man I am looking for is Alison Claxton who was born in 1841. Yes, it is Alison. I had to look twice! Any information off the record would be much appreciated. I believe he was married in Muston as well some years later, but I do not have any info on that marriage either. His first child however was born in Bridlington in 1868. Any help would be very much appreciated. Regards Dennis

Hi again Dennis. I have now found Allison in the 1841 Census - not a very good image, but readable! 1841 Census Muston. John CLAXTON age 25 Ag. Lab. Rose (or Rosa) CLAXTON age 25 Jane CLAXTON age 3 Henry CLAXTON age 2 Allison CLAXTON age 1 You will realise that adult ages were rounded down to the next 0 or 5 below, so that anyone between the ages of 25 and 29 would be shown as being aged 25.
