Hi Dennis I found Alison on the 1881 census in Bridlington as you said. I then found him on the 1861 census in Muston. Sadly I couldn't find him on the 1851 census (maybe I just don't see him) and the 1841 census is very difficult too read. If you haven't already got this information please contact me and I will send it to you. The man I am looking for is Alison Claxton who was born in 1841. Yes, it is Alison. I had to look twice! Any information off the record would be much appreciated. I believe he was married in Muston as well some years later, but I do not have any info on that marriage either. His first child however was born in Bridlington in 1868. Any help would be very much appreciated.
