The first is Mary Wiles born 1814 at Great Cowden. Mary became pregnant and took George Dixon to court. The court told him to pay 1s 6d a week (detauils in East Riding archives). Instead of paying that he married her! The other Wiles I have is Mary's father William born 1786 d. 1860. Somehow I have omitted to show his birth place. I will be doing some checking on this. William married Ann Ockleton in 1813 in Aldborough. Guess these are not in your areas of search?
