If you have only used the IGI information on the Primitive methodist family, may I suggest you seek out the original records at Kew ( the National Archives.) These were sent to the Registrar General in 1837 for many non-conformist churches, and often contain much more information that C of E books. The IGI indexes only the most basic information. The originals can often give details of occupation and grandparents which won't appear anywhere else. They are usually in RG4. But quite recently TNA established a website index of the names which will probably give the proper reference numbers. Persis
