    3. I have looked at the entry in both Ancestry and TheGenealogist, and I would say that "relation to head of family" has been left blank. There is simply a black vertical stroke. I magnified the image to 125%, and it is quite clear. Sorry. I don't think that's what you wanted to hear. Arlene Arlene V.
