    3. Friends, Hazel B very kindly suggested the cwgc website for tracking people who may have been killed in the war. For example, the man below may be a relative - any ideas how I can confirm that? I checked against the free BMD register for Hull in 1915 / 16 / 17 but he is not recorded. Would his death have been recorded in his native city of Hull? Is there another way to double check if information on the cwgc is what I am looking for? Can I check the army records for the regiment? I.40 (note capital ' i ' not ' 1' ) Page. 325. You can send for the death certificate on line from Ons. The death would not have been recorded in the Hull registers.
