    3. Beverley, As Persis has said there is a legal notification following his death which I will send as a PDF file. In the same newspaper there are two other references to a William Spencer Burnham, who I presume will be the same person. The first is his marriage, recorded in the Hull Packet and East Riding Times of October 9, 1863; it reads: September 30, at the Catholic Chapel, Marton, by Rev. Geo Kearsley, William Spencer Burnham, farmer, Tickton, to Mary Agnes Walker, only surviving daughter of E. Walker Esq, Central House, Wyton. The second one appears in the same paper on 6th August 1869. Under the heading of 'Yorkshire Agricultural Show' in the category of 3 year old coaching fillies, it notes that second place went to William S. Burnham of Tickton. Hope these are yours too. best wishes Martin Cross Brighton ----- Original Message ----- From: <Beverleysusan@aol.com> To: <Eng-East-Yorks-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, July 13, 2008 1:49 PM Subject: [ENG-EAST-YORKS] Can anyone help ? >I am looking into the death of my 2 x great grandfather William Spencer > Burnham who died in October 1875.
