Hello Jane, I have some old 'Liverpool Historian' journals from the Liverpool F.H.S. & happen to be looking at the March 1986 edition. There's a researcher at Washington USA, for MOLYNEUX. It's quite a well known name in Lancashire & Cheshire. If his address is of any use I can forward it. I also know someone who is researching this name. If you could tell us in what way you're related to Capt. Edward, I can forward your message. Why not order his birth certificate for his parents' names ? His obit could be in The Times, which I feel sure is available on film & could be ordered through your local Record Office or Mormon Library ? Best wishes, Genny. Hello Carol, I sent you a reply at 08:59 12/9 but you may not have received it as I have now received a Mail Delivery Warning for you email address. Sending this message direct to the list. I was hoping someone would be going to Hull or Beverley to do some research. I'm in no hurry so would appreciate your help. Peter

Hello, If any very kind person has access to the parish registers for Catwick/Nunkeeling, would they mind looking up the following birth entry for me, please? Alfred FOX GIBSON, christened 23rd July 1802, Mother, Mary Ann Gibson ?Father, John Fox (?clergyman). Elizabeth.
G`day kind people,(grovel, grovel) I have just found a name I was looking for on the 1901 census. I paid for and printed out the page, but unfortunatly there are no details about the place the person is in, just a list of names of young ( presumably single women) training for laundry work or stocking knitting. It is an institution, possibly a workhouse or girls reformatory in the administrative county of York. Obviously the info; I need is on another page, but I don`t know how many pages back, so am reluctant to go for more. The ref: no; is RG 13/4247. Any helpful suggestions, gratefully received. cheers from Ruth in Adelaide.
Hello all, I am looking for anyone else researching this family, or who may have any information on them. 1881 Holy Trinity, Hull - Edwin Crawford, a Dockside Labourer b London 1847. Wife Rebecca 1849 Hull and children Thomas 1868, Edward 1871, Mary A 1874 & George B 1876. 1901 - Edward now married and a Fish Dock Labourer living in Sculcoates with wife Mary 1872 Hull and children. Leslie 1892, Gladys 1898 and baby daughter 3 weeks. Also a nephew Edwin Crawford 1891, all born in Hull. Any connections anyone? Jackie in Leicestershire
Could SKS do a look-up please of the micro film for the 1851 census for Holy Trinity Hull (HO 107/2362). I have full information concerning Patrick Hare and his family on folio 141v. However, the 1851 index shows Ann Hare (4) as on folio 142, the next page. She may be the illegitimate daughter of Mary Ann Hare. As the family details go to the page bottom Ann's name may have been carried over or on census night was possibly living with a family friend or another member of the family. The 1881 census shows her as Hannah Eliza, and 1891 as Annie E. Details of Ann's address and any other residents would be appreciated. Peter (Newcastle upon Tyne)
