Hi to all on the list. I was out of state (Michigan) and did not have access to E.s for a month. Wow! There were over 500. Some I knew that I could delete but others like this list I wanted to be sure and read. What do you know, on 1 Feb 2001 our list admin. ask us to relist our searches. Melanie, I see you list BEAUMONT among several others. My great grandmother is Emma BEAUMONT, b. 15 July 1857 (She married Frederick G WILDEN b. 16 July 1861 and they lived on Church Walk, Stowmarked, Suffolk in 1887 when my gfather was born) She was born in Onehouse, Suffolk to Samuel BEAUMONT and Elizabeth SHEAD. Emma's parents lived in Onehouse, Stowmarket, and Bury St. Edmunds. Samuel BEAUMONT was born abt 1834 in Wormingford, Essex and his wife Elizabeth SHEAD abt. 1833 in Bures, Essex. Emma BEAUMONT WILDEN and her husband raised 7 sons and in the late 1890's ran the pub "Little Wellington" (across from the "Duke of Wellington") on Stoupland Rd in Stowmarket. They lived at 61 Regent St., Stowmarket when they both died on the same day. 24. Jan 1937. If there is any information anyone has to add to this, I would be so happy to hear from you.
