Isn't serendipity marvellous! Only last week I acquired the following: 'Justly Celebrated Ales - A Directory of Norfolk Brewers - 1850-1990' by Andrew P. Davison published in 1991 by (who else!) the Brewery History Society (ISBN 1 873966 01 6). Essentially a directory by place name but indexed by surname ... and before anyone asks, I am prepared to see whether people are listed but not to transcribe the contents! I'm not having much luck with finding grandpa BROWN's marriage - I suspect it happened outside Norfolk - so I will be unsubscribing soon. Thanks to everyone who has offered encouragement.
