    3. Hi Doreen , Although I cannot connect to this family .....all my work has been in Yorkshire so far .....it could be of value in due course .Thank you for posting it . Some of "my" Yorkshire SAYERs moved to London/Richmond,Surrey in 1700s and from the limited amount of information collected so far there appears to be a family connection to SAYERs in Norfolk/Suffolk around that time ,which suggests that some Yorkshire SAYERs may have moved into East Anglia .The SAYER line inYorkshire goes back to 1350 which would seem to preclude any South to North movement . Several members of the South Country SAYERs served in the Dragoon Guards which is an added point of interest . Is SAYER one of the names which you are researching ?
