Dear List I have a CHRISTMAS MELTON (male) in my ancestors from Walpole, Norfolk in the 1870s. I'm guessing he was born on Dec 25, but am I right? Has anyone else come across this first name? He is mentioned in two census returns.At first I thought it might be a gypsy name, but the family are ag labs, and stayed put for decades as far as I can see. Best wishes, Cheryl
