    1. [EEA] 1891 British Census

    3. List Members, Would someone please provide an answer. The British Government held a Census on 5 April 1891. We read all about Census information for 1881, but see nothing for 1891. How do we obtain Census information from 1891 for the surnames Seaden and Seadon? The two names are the same family, just someone, a Census taker could not spell, so part of the family ended up with a den and the other a don. The name originated as don in Bury St. Edmunds & Woopit, Suffolk in the 1700's. We would appreciate any answers even a guess. Thank You for your help. Sincerely, Rita (nee Seadon) & Don Shadick
