Dear List My GGG G/father was listed as a Leather Dresser in the 1881 census and my GG G/father as a Tanners labourer in the same year. One lived at Poplar Hill and the other at "Needham or Ipswich Road", Combs. Does anyone know of any leather factories in the area at that time? Kind Regards Brenda
