To add further to the discussion around virus's there is anti virus software that will check attachments. I use AVG anti virus software from Grisoft, this is free to individuals but not to companies ect you can download it from www.grisoft.com. When correctly set up it will check all incoming and all outgoing e-mails certifying them virus free. This software currently only works with outlook and outlook express but most people seem to use one of these. If you give them your e-mail address you can sign up to their free update service where they e-mail you because of a fresh alert. You then download the update, this is easy to do as it installs and updates itself automatically. I hope this helps Paul --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.250 / Virus Database: 123 - Release Date: 4/18/01
