I need to know just what is the difference between the North Sea and the German Ocean? Living here in the USA over the years, I had thought it all was the North Sea. I was surprised to hear otherwise. I will appreciate any help. Thank you. Lila
Hi Lila The names were interchangeable, although it was usually called the German Ocean until the First World War.
