Hi I'm new to the List and hope someone will be able to point me in the right direction! I'm interested in Abraham RICHMOND who appears in my family tree as my husbands GGG Grandmothers 2nd husband! The 1881 census shows him living in Pudsey, Yorkshire aged 45yrs his place of birth is given as Darlington, Durham. I have managed to trace a Abraham RICHMOND aged 14yrs on the 1851 census for Darlington (St Cuthbert) he is shown living with Ellen RICHMOND (aged77yrs), George RICHMOND (aged 40yrs) and Margaret RICHMOND (aged 12yrs). I don't know what the relationship was between these people. I have also found a baptism for an Abraham RICHMOND at St Cuthberts on 3rd Feb 1836 - the baptism record shows he was the son of Christopher and Ann. So, I seem to have found Abraham in 1851 but then I loose him until he appears in Pudsey in 1881! I'd love to be able to find out where in was in the intervening years and when/why he moved to Pudsey - does anyone have any suggestions of how I might go about this? Many thanks in advance.
