I am researching BRUCES from STOCKTON ON TEES DURHAM and THORNABY ON TEES DURHAM. I have got to a WILLIAM BRUCE born 1826 STOCKTON ON TEES but i cannot find any information as to his parents or family he was living in stockton on his own in 1841 age 14 but cannot find any other BRUCES. Is anyone else researching the same surname or can help me as they have all been big families to date. thanks
