FRED ROE son age 14 bn Egton app carpenter.ANNIE JANE ROE dtr age 11 bn Egton.Yorks. The 1901 census WILLIAM ROE bn 1884 and occ app plasterer bn West Hartlepool matches my G/F,s details 100%. He also had 2 marriages he apparently had 2-3 children by his 1st wife whom he left to elope with my G/M HENRIETTA CHARLOTTE KNOWLSON by whom he had issue LORNA ROE bn 1914.LENOARD,DONALD,IVY,DERECK,GRANVILLE and 2 others gender u/kn these were the 1st born who died very young prior to 1914 probably. HE eventually married HENRIETTA shortly before his death in 1942 I suspect that his first wife had died allowing him to remarry he was a R.C. at birth but renounced his religion possibly because his 1st wife would not give him a divorce. She apparently emmigrated some family members say to India others say U.S.A.
