My 2nd g.grandmother was Catherine SISSON, born according to the 1881 census, in Leicester, England in about 1812. She married Anthony THUBRON on 21 April 1838 in Sedgefield, County Durham, and died in Saltburn, Yorks, near Marske, in 1882. (In the 1881 census transcription by the LDS her name is mis-spelled as Thutron). Strangely, a John THOBRON married firstly a Sarah SISSONS in Sedgefield on 30 July 1798, then another Catherine SISSONS on 25 Nov. 1800, also in Sedgefield. I can't find a christening for my Catherine around 1812. Does anybody have any connection with these SISSON(S)? Adrian in South Hants.
