Margaret BELL was born in Low Worsall, N. Yorkshire, in l850. She was daughter to John BELL and Mary (HUTCHINSON). Margaret was sister to my great grandfather, George BELL. She married Henry TARGETT of Wiltshire at Marton in l875. At the time, Henry was resident in Marton and Margaret in Thorpe (Co. Durham). On the l88l Census William and Margaret were living in Great Smeaton, N. Yorks (a village with links to earlier BELLs) as follows: William Henry TARGETT, Ag. Lab., 32, b. Wilts. Smeaton I have now found the family on the l90l census living at Thorpe, parish of Grindon, Co. Durham Henry TARGETT, Mar., 52, Farm Lab. Domestic, b. Teffont Magna, Salisbury, Wilts Margaret, 5l, b. Worsall William, Son, 22, Lab. at Tar Works, b. Gt. Smeaton and at Fulthorpe, Thorpe, Grindon living with PEACOCK family (farmers) Robert TARGETT, Servant, 20, Houseman, b. Gt.
