Hello , My name is Rose Morrison nee Baker, Queensland, Australia and have been researching my family line for the past 6 years with little success on the female side of the Innis/es - Baker family. Note different spelling of the Innes name My GGrandparents were Parish of Stockton upon Tees in the County of Durham. Register of Baptisumsfor the Year 1834 page 251. Nov 23 Susanna 4th daughter of William & Judah INNIFS, Stockton, Weaver. Baptism solemnized in the Chapley of Redcar in the County of York in the year of 1834 June 29th John son of Mark & Mary BAKER, Redcar, Shoemaker. ----------- 1851 Marriage solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of Hartlepool in the County of Durham date name age condition rank/prof residence Father names rank/profession of father Nov 23 John BAKER, full , Bachelor, Sailor, Hartlepool, Mark Baker, Fisherman Susannah INNIS full Spinster -------- Hartlepool William Innis Fisherman Married in the church by Banns or after Rob Taylor by me PC John signed by his mark & Susannah signed her name in the presence of Twizell Johnson ??ifsie Smith ---------------------------------------- John & Susannah Baker's children were Mary Ann Baker b 1852 bap 1852 Stockton -on-Tees DUR m 1870 Redcar YKS to Thomas MOULTON Emma Baker b abt 1857 Stockton-on-Tees DUR Ellen Baker b abt 1859 Stockton-on-Tees DUR Susannah 1860 b abt 1860 Sunderland DUR John William Innes Baker b 1863 Sunderland DUR came to Qld, Australia m 1890 to Mary Elizabeth FAGG from Kent England. [These are my Greatgrandparents and have a book published on their descendents] ------------------------- My father was also was given the second name of Innes after his greatgandmother's side of the family.
