    3. After not receiving any response to my posting on John Baker married 23 Nov 1851 Hartlepool Dur to Susannah Innis/Inniss I decided to look at the witness to their wedding, Twi(y)zell Johnson. Found on the free online bmd the marriage Stockton Dur 1849 March quarter of a Twyzell Johnson to Ann Inness and as Susannah was bap 1834 in Stockton I believe Twyzell & Ann are her brother-in-law & sister. Also was send this by a kind lady researching Innes/Inns.(Sadly she has not found a connection between our Inniss families) 1851 census----Stockton-on-Tees (taken on 30th March 1851) Play House yard 45 Silver Street Twizzell Johnson H M 23 painter North Newcastle Ann " W M 25 Dur, Stockton Cordelia dau 5 scholar " " William Inns bro in law U 19 Fisherman au? " " Susannah Inns sis in law U? 7 " " --------------------------------- Could the age of Susannah be a mistake and should read 17 because why would there be unmarried listed for a 7year old child. What is the age does it mean when stating full age on a marriage certificate? Would be happy to hear from other researcher interested in the same family lines. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Rose Morrison Qld Australia

    3. Dear Rose, I know nothing of your family but I was born and brought up in Stockton on Tees. The old Play House was for many years a factory making sweets, most of that area has been demolished and redeveloped but the Play House is now back in use. I have a book of old photographs and some other books on Stockton I will see if there are any records of you family and if you wish I will try to send some of the pictures.
