Hi List, My great grandparents were married in Liverpool, and brought their family up in Liverpool. However, on the BMD the only William Thompson Kay birth is for 1853 Stockton registration. I'm happy to accept this, as I had his full name from a certificate, and I can't imagine that there would be many other boys given the same name. The date would make him about 17 or 18 years old when he got married to Margaret Green, which wasn't unheard of. So, can anyone shed any light on William, his sibblings or his parents? Perhaps from the appropriate census? Eternally greatfull for any help!, Helen
