She was dearly esteemed by a numerous acquaintance by whom she is deservedly lamented. William Thompson, printer, stationer and bookbinder, Quayside (middle), Newcastle.He started in business partnership with William Brown until March 1786 when the partnership was dissolved and Thompson set up shop in North Shields. He advertised for a compositor in the same same notice which announced his coming, and he printed several books in North Shields including "A Collection of the Most Esteemed Farces", 1786. He returned to Newcastle in April 1790 and printed at least two large scale works in parts - an Ostervald's Bible and Fleetwood's "Life of Christ". In 1791 or 1792, he became bankrupt.
