    3. Could SKS with access to the 1891 census for Jarrow have a look for a family of German immigrants. The family name is Phaffle, but they may be down as Phaffl(e)y or Pipaffley. They were at Market Square, Jarrow in 1901 and they seem to have been associated with St Peters Church, Jarrow. Thanks very much Mike
