Hi list I have now at long last found my lost Stanley Scott under the name James Stanley Scott why he should use the name JAMES I do not know as he was christened Stanley and on the 1901 census he is Stanley any way I would like to thank all the list members who have tried to help me find him but now I have his details how do I find out more about him i e where he enlisted , if he would have been awarded any medals etc His details are PRIVATE JAMES STANLEY SCOTT 8605 1st Bn West Yorkshire Regt. [Prince of Wales own] Died 12 2 1916 aged 21 years Bureid 11 . D. 40 LIJSSENTHOEK MILITARY CEMETERY BELGIUM His parents were James & Eliza Scott 12 Maple st Jarrow-on-Tyne Thank you all again Yours Francis
