    3. About the Microsoft problem, Do not click on any link on that e-mail as it is bogus and can cause a very bad virus. I found this out from Microsoft as when I find something like it I question Microsoft and they told me that they do not sent e-mail updates. 3. Yes Dave, There are a few strange ones about I have had the same one you have had! there is also ones that look like your mail has been returned, they have a virus attached to them! Also I received some very disturbing ones last week regarding child porn, I was disgusted . I used the marking facility to mark all that came in purple, I received about ten a day! . However, they eventually stopped but this week a lot of people off the list have come through marked purple! So I think whoever it is, is using other peoples address books! It is certainly worse than ever at the moment. I also received a message saying that my PayPal account that I use needed updating, I ignored it , A week later there was a notice sent out saying that PayPal would NEVER do it that way they would re-route you to a secure site using known passwords. I am waiting for the new one to start to hit us all too, so far all mine have been picked up with the virus checker. 3. I also received these very genuine-looking e-mails when I was receiving up to 100+ SPAM e-mails a day ( I was with Claranet but have now changed my ISP). Microsoft say that they NEVER send unsolicited e-mail attacments. I contacted them and was told that it was a virus and to delete it. dougandbunny@freenet.co.uk
