Hi List, I am back after being off list for a while. Since we may have new subscribers, I thought I would remind everyone again. Also, if you have both a hotmail and a regular e-mail, please do not send your requests with the hotmail address. I just hit reply and send your images. Your mailboxes in Hotmail are not large enough and my e-mails bounce thus wasting everyone's time because I have to resend request for different address and then send image again. :-) I am offering to try and find lost ancestors on the 1891 census anywhere in England. I am not using CD's so addresses will not be of any help to me. I only ask for a few things to help me identify the correct family for you. I have asked already and was told that I am not breaking copywrite rules, etc. as long as I am not doing this for a profit, etc. I am only trying to help others break down their brick walls. After replying to a person on their request, I delete all replies to them and any images after 2 days. I need the complete 1881 Or 1901 copy for the entire census of the family showing their birth dates, towns and counties of birth. Please do not use abbreviations as I do not know what they mean. I am not in the UK. Sometimes, with this index, I have to use only the first name of a person and their town of birth to track the family. The transcribers sometimes can't read and make mistakes that a soundex search will not find. You may ask for as many requests as you like but only one census family household per e-mail request. That gives everyone a fair chance to get their request answered fast and also so I do not get confused as to who you are looking for. If there are any other questions, I will be happy to answer them. If I find your family, I will send you a .jpg image of the census page. Occasionally, the family is split between two pages and the download will take longer. I scan all my incoming and outgoing e-mail with Norton 2003 and it is checked daily for updates. Sue in Florida macduff@infionline.net
