John, You can find a marriage certificate for Ann Iley and Edward Deighton in 1864 Durham Western (Bp Auckland). If you are from out of area (or country) and have no way of getting there you can order this on line with a credit card at: http://www.durham.gov.uk/gro/search.nsf/search?openform It takes about 7-10 days to your doorstep. This is a boon to those whose money system is not in £'s or live out of the country. You can get certificates from the GRO but only if you live in the UK or have someone there working for you. There is a birth certificate available for Ann Iley in Durham Western for 1838. That one seems the most likely. There were two in Durham Western for in the 1840's but they are like 1845 and 1848.
