Thankyou to all the people who responded to my request for the 1891 census lookup for "William James Holmes" he is my paternal grandfather. I have now inherated another three ancestors, and also found the birth place of my great-grandmother Elizabeth Sokell(Solkell) which is Eppleby, Yorkshire. On the 1881 census she gave Durham!
