Dear Listers I am looking for the birth of Albert HART who married Selina LUMSDEN in 1902 aged 22yrs. According to now deceased members of the family, he was adopted. In the 1881 census there is a Anthony DAWSON aged 15months, born Garsfield, DUR, adopted son of Albert HART and his wife Rachel. In 1891 census there is a Albert HART aged 11years, born Byerside, which I am presuming, perhaps wrongly, is the Anthony DAWSON in 1881 census. In the Birth Records there is a Anthony DAWSON born Dec 1879 Sunderland. Could someone please tell me if Garsfield or Byerside is near Sunderland? Thanking you Mary Hart
