Hi, I am new to this list My name is Graham Saltmer, I am researching my family tree. My grandmother Ruth Margaret Mcleod was born at Gateshead in 1907. She had a child Jack Mcleod born 1926 in Driffield Yorkshire (father?) She married my grandfather Edward Saltmer in 1929 at Driffield. They had 3 children, Marjorie born 1929, Kenneth born 1931, and my father Donald born 1935, all in Driffield.Its a long and difficult story but all the family split up and no one knows anything about her! I am trying to find her birth/death details, I have checked the usual places but can`t find her? Can anyone help? Is she in anyone's tree? Regards Graham Saltmer (Perth Australia)
