I am researching my maternal side for details of her paternal line, in particular Peter MADDISON born about 1610 in Stanhope,Durham. In abt. 1640 Peter married Ann FEATHERSTONHAUGH b. abt. 1615 and they had at least one child Lowinger HALL b. abt 1640. Lowinger married about 1665 to Anne STORY b. abt. 1645 and they had the following children that we are aware of: Mary abt 1666: Ambrose abt. 1667: Margaret abt.1671: John abt 1672: Jane b. 1677 in Stanhope who married Robert HALL of Wolsingham: Tryphen abt.1678: Robert abt 1680: Thomas abt. 1683. Robert HALL and Jane MADDISON had the following children: Robert 1697: Lowingr 1699 who married a Mary: John 1704: Isobel 1706: Thomas 1708: George. Lowinger HALL and Mary had the following children: Mary abt 1729: Jane abt. 1733: Lowinger 1740 who married Margaret DODDS: William abt 1743. Do you recognise any of these names?
