Hi everyone :) I'm sorry to be a bother again, but does anyone have access to the 1851 census to check this entry for me please? ... "On the Durham Records Online website I think I found your Elizabeth Armstrong Aged 2 Born in Lambton and residing in the Houghton-le-Spring area on the 1851 census. The head of the household was a John Armstrong aged 28 born Windyside in Stanhope." Is Lambton in the Durham Northern area? I might have to go check out Records Online to find that out, but if possible I'd like to check this entry without having to spend any money. We've had a bad couple of months and a military wage is bad enough to begin with, so any help would be enormously appreciated!! :D Take care, Rob.
